For example, at the time of purchase, it can be treated with a specific spray for leather and hide. Immediately remove any stains, especially those that may leave a greasy residue; another useful tip is to always keep your jacket hanging on a hanger so that small cracks or wrinkles do not form.
To clean a leather or hide outer garment, you need these simple but essential materials: Warm water; Baking soda; Liquid soap, preferably mild; A cloth; If possible, a specific spray for leather treatment.
Here’s the procedure:If you need to eliminate bad odors, mix warm water and baking soda, gently massaging the leather garment with a damp cloth, then at the end remove the excess liquid with a dry cloth. Add soap to the warm water and gently clean the surface of the jacket with a sponge.
ATTENTION: during this step do not apply force, but gently massage the garment, otherwise it could be damaged. Now pass a damp cloth soaked only in water, to remove any soap residues. Finally, to eliminate excess moisture that may remain on the jacket, pass a clean, dry cloth, always using delicacy.
